Booking

Remote, in person, or both.

The clinic decides. Configure each service as remote or in person in your settings, and the booking portal only offers patients what you have enabled.

✓Per service. Travel health face to face, weight management reviews remote, or either: it is a setting, not a workaround.
✓Same booking journey. Patients pick the mode alongside the slot, and the questionnaire still arrives before the call.

The consultation

Call the patient from within Scripter.

Voice or video, launched straight from the appointment or the patient record. The consultation pathway is open on the same screen, so the call and the clinical work happen together.

✓Nothing to install. The patient joins from the link in their reminder, in the browser, on any device.
✓Switch mid-call. Start on voice and turn the camera on when it helps; the timer and the record carry on.
The record

Every call leaves a transcript.

Conversation transcripts are saved against the consultation record, alongside your clinical notes. Same PGDs, same templates, same audit trail.

✓On the record. The transcript sits with the consultation it belongs to, not in a separate tool.
✓Same governance. Remote consultations run the same protocol version and sign-off rules as in-person ones.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what pharmacy teams ask about telehealth.

Does the patient need to install anything?+

No. The patient joins from the link in their appointment reminder, in a browser on their phone, tablet or computer.

Can a service be offered both remotely and in person?+

Yes. Each service has a delivery mode setting: remote, in person, or both. The booking portal only shows patients the options you have enabled.

Where does the transcript go?+

It is saved against the consultation record alongside your clinical notes, under the same protocol version and audit trail as an in-person consultation.
