What is Hepatitis A + B combined?

The combined vaccine covers both hepatitis A (food and water spread) and hepatitis B (blood and body-fluid spread) in one course, with standard and accelerated schedules to fit departure dates.

The condition it treats

Longer stays, healthcare or humanitarian work, adventure travel and some destinations justify covering both viruses; hepatitis B risk rides on accidents and medical care abroad as much as on lifestyle.

How the service runs on Scripter

Patients book online, complete the pre-consultation questionnaire, and the guided pathway walks the practitioner through the combined hepatitis a and b protection consultation with the screening and counselling steps built in. The supply decision, the record and any GP notification are produced in the same flow, documented against the exact protocol version in force.

Training and eligibility requirements.

Who can deliver this service, and who it can be delivered to. The governing PGD document defines the definitive inclusion, exclusion and supply criteria; the Scripter consultation pathway enforces them, and every consultation is documented against the protocol version it ran under.

Hepatitis A + B combined PGD questions

How fast can the course go?+

An accelerated schedule can deliver three doses within three weeks for imminent travel, with a 12-month booster completing it; the pathway calendars all four so none are lost.

Why would a tourist need hepatitis B cover?+

Road accidents, dental emergencies and unplanned medical care are the realistic exposures; longer or repeated trips shift the calculus toward covering it.

What if a previous course was never finished?+

Interrupted courses generally resume rather than restart; the consultation reconstructs the history and the record keeps it straight for next time.
