What is Tadalafil?

Tadalafil is a longer-acting PDE5 inhibitor, originally marketed as Cialis. A single dose can support erections in response to stimulation for up to 36 hours, which many men prefer because it separates the medicine from the moment.

The condition it treats

Erectile dysfunction is the persistent inability to get or keep an erection sufficient for sex. Because its causes range from psychological factors to diabetes and vascular disease, the consultation screens cardiovascular risk and medication interactions before supply.

How the service runs on Scripter

Patients book online, complete the pre-consultation questionnaire, and the guided pathway walks the practitioner through the erectile dysfunction consultation with the screening and counselling steps built in. The supply decision, the record and any GP notification are produced in the same flow, documented against the exact protocol version in force.

Training and eligibility requirements.

Who can deliver this service, and who it can be delivered to. The governing PGD document defines the definitive inclusion, exclusion and supply criteria; the Scripter consultation pathway enforces them, and every consultation is documented against the protocol version it ran under.

Tadalafil PGD questions

How is tadalafil different from sildenafil?+

Both work the same way; tadalafil lasts much longer (up to 36 hours versus around 4), so timing is more flexible. The consultation helps the patient choose the fit.

Is daily dosing covered?+

The supply and dosing options available under this PGD are defined by the governing document; the consultation pathway presents only the options it permits.

What if tadalafil does not work first time?+

PDE5 inhibitors often need more than one attempt. The record tracks response so follow-up consultations can adjust strength or switch agent within the PGD's criteria.
